This was a great 2 day certification. Just what I’ve been looking for! Sohaila is very precise .The class setting was perfect for fine tuning, questions, small talk with teacher and others. Ive been dancing with Sohaila for 4 years now, About a year ago I said I wonted to teach. Lo and behold Sohaila always has something hidden in her hip scarf...It was NewVo and I am a certified NewVo dance fitness teacher through her program! When I first started dancing 5 years ago with Sohaila I used to go home and teach my friends the moves for belly dancing and they told me I should teach later on in life. I looked at them like they were crazy. Look at me wanting to teach NewVo. I have back problems and I feel so much better when I come to class. I also come to class to help my weight issues. NewVo fitness is a blessing to me. I have had dance training and fitness training, and NewVo has been the perfect blend for me to utilize both. Sohaila’s NewVo certification weekend is so valuable, because she generously equips us with her knowledge of not only correct belly dance technique, but also her insights into successfully teaching any BODY.
